Frank Lalli

After Frank Lalli, the former editor of Money and George magazines, was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, a potentially deadly blood cancer, he turned his experiences with our health care system into becoming The Health Care Detective™ and the author of Simon & Schuster’s Your Best Health Care – Now. He also reports regularly for National Public Radio’s Robin Hood Radio and Parade magazine to help people make better health care decisions and save money, too. In addition, he has testified twice before the U.S. Congress as an expert witness.

Known as a consumer advocate, Lalli was named one of the top 100 business journalists of the 20th century and has won the three most prestigious prizes for excellence in financial journalism: The John Hancock, the University of Missouri, and the Gerald Loeb awards. The magazines he edited won numerous National Magazine Awards, including Excellence in New Media. He is also a recognized leader in journalism, who wrote the first Code of Ethics for magazine editors while serving as President of the American Society of Magazine Editors.
